Dame Eileen Atkins and Sir Michael Gambon will be starring in a production of Samuel Beckett's 1957 radio play at the Jermyn Street Theatre from 9th October to 3rd November 2012. The stage premiere of this one act play will be directed by Sir Trevor Nunn.

An extremely short run at a very small theatre, especially considering the names involved. 29 performances at a 70 seat venue equates to 2100 seats, so grab them will they're hot!!

So, a one act radio play - presumably original running time less than an hour, no doubt Sir Trev will spin it out to three hours or so!

Intrigued to know what that means exactly - "studio circumstances" for a radio play - that they will sit there reading it from the script maybe ?

Oh.  Wish I hadn't booked now.  Anyone want two tickets, Thursday the 25th Oct?  Can anyone explain the point of this?  I saw a similar thing at the Orange Tree recently and it was quite dull.

Certainly, Trevor Nunn and the Beckett estate. Possibly, Eileen Atkins and Michael Gambon. Probably not, Wayne Rooney.
