Well - that's reassuring :-)

It seems that part of the problem comes when /unread/ is in the address you're trying to seek.
Perhaps the idiot developers are taking it as a command rather than a description - "I want to unread this page" - and so are presenting you with an empty screen.

Would explain something, either way - this is just the latest in a long line of mess-ups from WoS with regards to their forum recently. I look now at the new/refreshed board and I've still got all the BR coding faff all over the place. Sorry, but is it really that hard to install working software?/rant over.PS - and paragraphing hasn't been sorted, either. I've just edited this post to make it work (after going through three white screens)...

Nope - paragraphing and general line spacing doesn't work at all for me.. even when editing (which was always what corrected the problem on the old software).

When I click discussion board from the WOS homepage, I get a very messed up screen. I then have to click on a half visible link to get to the forum I want. I'd rather have the old version back- at least it didn't pose a threat to my PC and I could access it.

The forum was fine as soon as it went up, but since yesterday it's been a mess.  I can't see half the buttons, the forum is stretched in a very weird way and the paragraphing doesn't work. From being a lot better than before, it's now a lot worse!

Dammit, why has testing programs gone out of fashion? Back in the days when software developers learnt by experience it was taken for granted that the job wasn't to write programs but to write programs that worked. Now most developers are told how to do things rather than taking the initiative and learning for themselves, and it seems nobody has told them that actually trying out your code after writing it might be a good idea.

The automatic spellcheck appears to be American, amusingly leading to it not accepting   'theatre'

I was away during the site changeover and when I returned, my automatic login had gone and I found it REALLY hard to see how to sign in - I even had to use the search function to find out what on earth to do.  It turned out that the relevant button was really tiny, tucked away and for me, almost invisible.  Not a problem now, of course, but I can't be the only one here to struggle to see basic functions of that type.
