I do not have Lynettes Sonic Screw-driver, but I can do red text, and have the ability to merge threads. Whew!

OK. Spoke too soon. Do not have a Sonic Screwdriver, and the mods appear to have lost the rich text editor so red is not possible either.

But the thread is merged.

What can I say. It is a recession. Meatloaf's "Two outta three ain't bad" has been downgraded.

I have power beyond mortal comprehension.
(Also knowledge of BBCode. I'm sure I've seen the rich text editor recently, but I can't find it right now.)

Glad the forum's back up and running. Saw this on Saturday and thought it was ok, mainly for Samantha Spiro, but disappointed as have seen some really tremendous stuff at the Almeida recently. Hope Children's Children puts them back on track. I have put some ramblings on my blog http://frontrowdress...aturday-24.html

I saw this last night and found it surprisingly powerful and poignant, probably because of the luminous Ms Spiro.

I had the nagging feeling that I had encountered this plot before so I looked it up and discovered it had been adapted for the old Vittorio Di Sica movie, Marriage - Italian Style, starring Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni.  Anyone see that? I recall it as being very funny.

I know I'd encountered the plot before. But in reverse, and accompanied by Swedish popular music.

But the plot of Mama Mia was ripped off from a Hollywood movie, Buona Sera Mrs. Campbell, no?  It's not exactly the same plot as Filumena, even in reverse.
