The box office is usually the same prics as TKTS though, £42.50. They do tend to have better seats available on the day, so I get my tickets there rather than TKTS, but either way it's not that cheap. I haven't found any really good discounts for Top Hat & I've been looking ever since it opened.

If you go the BO about 45 mins or so before showtime you might get lucky by asking if they have any deals. I got two £42.50 tickets down from £35 to £27.50 by just standing and hmmmm-ing and haaaa-ing then asking if they had any day seats.

It might depend on who's on duty and how many seats they have but nothing ventured etc etc....

Buy the cheapest seat available and move just before the curtain goes up.
The on-line booking charts let you know the areas that are free, so unless there's a mad rush just before the show starts you'll be fine.

It was pretty full yesterday when I went. I went in now sure what to expect, but came out loving it.

Was there on a £15 UC slip seat on Tuesday and was upgraded to 2nd price stalls.
Best £15 I've spent for a long time. A great show.

I went last night, buying my tickets from lastminute.com the day before for £40 plus booking fee. This was third price, balcony row E. No arms on the seats and no room under the seat so when other people came it was really difficult to let them pass. However, once it started everyone moved forward (including us) and we ended up third row from front. Still very tight on leg room (and a bit tight on my backside to be honest now there was arms ;-)  ) but because there was no one next to us I stretched my legs to the side and it was just about ok. The show was amazing and it's great that even on balcony seats you are still pretty close to the action but I do think £45 is a bit too much to pay for such uncomfortable seats. The balcony was only about half full so maybe others felt the same.
