Hey everyone,

My dissertation is on motivations and why people attend the theatre.

Firstly if anyone could complete the survey link below then that would be great, it should only take you a few minutes.

Secondly, I'd be keen to conduct some email interviews with anyone who works in/has worked in theatres in the UK, particularly the West End of London and in Glasgow Theatres!

SURVEY HERE: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/887D7ZV

ANY help would be greatly recieved!

Thanks :)

Please can you tell us the educational institution you attend and the level of the dissertation and the person supervising you. We get a lot of this kind of thing on the site and though we are all happy to share our theatre knowledge and experiences, we don't do other people's homework.

Sure!

I'm in my honours year at Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland, UK.
My degree programme is BA Entertainment and Event Management, and my supervising tutor is Miss Jenny Flinn.

I'm simply looking for some feedback from theatre goers in terms of the survey completion and I would like to conduct email based interviews with a few people who work in the industry, particularly any theatre managers.
Thanks

Stephen there are some big holes in your options for answers."How often have you travelled outwith your local area for the purposes of Theatre"NeverOftenFairly OftenSometimesThe option I'd go for is "occasionally" or "rarely" but there is no option near that. Also the question about travelling to London doesn't take into account that a lot of people already live in London.

Done - Good luck with your dissertation. My answers are a bit wonky because I live in london, but I hope I've made it clear.

Should you live in London then you can just skip this question, or state that you live there in the 'main reason for your visit' section. It was originally designed to be handed out to Locals in Glasgow, and such changes weren't made to take in account for a wider market. Thanks
