Maybe it was to do with Actors Equity saying if they allowed two Americans to star in the show here, in exchange, they let an English actor go to America to do it!? Just a theory!?

Entered the lottery tonight ( not successful of course) but the guys made it fun. Ideal if you work in London and finish in time to take part - I don't! "Ditch the date" was funny for the last odd ticket (they sell 21 per show) and of course all the draws up until the last were for 2 tickets. The girl who won the last ticket shouted "yes" to ditching the date without a seconds hesitation - everyone laughed!!! There were alot of people there - 100-150 I reckoned! So the odds are slim with only 10 drawn!

Yeah, the lottery draw is a giggle - I still prefer day tickets, though, even if I have to get up at the crack of dawn to get them.
The chances of getting a ticket in the lottery are so slim, with 100-odd people turning up to each draw, that I can't justify the 2-hour journey into the West End on the off-chance of getting a ticket.

I agree Kathryn, not worth a special trip at all but worth doing if you are in town anyway as I was with a fall back plan if I did not win to see the show. But not much chance of seeing the show otherwise unless you book far in advance and pay full whack - which is not an issue if you only go to the theatre for that "special occasion" but as a regular and frequent theatre goer my budget does not extend to paying full price for anything!

Does anyone know who might be at the opening night? They already had quite a few big names at red nose day last week (Paul McCartney, Tim Minchin, James Cordon, Kate Moss, Simon Cowell, Helena Bonham Carter, Tim Burton, etc) so really curious who'll be there. Rory O'Malley Tweeted he'll be seeing the show tomorrow night, which is quite exciting

Not sure about who might be there, but they are running the lottery for it, happening earlier than normal (arrive by 5). I reckon many, many big names will be there tomorrow. But the biggest name is going next Tuesday, as that is when I am finally seeing it! xD

Saw BOM last night, brilliant seats, which I booked months and months ago. I was apprehensive as I'd heard so much about the show. All I can say is that if you are easily offended and don't like foul language, then this show is probably not for you. I however, found out last night that I have neither of those afflictions and I loved every single minute and can't wait to go back again
