Thought I'd post the link to Mark Evans' Tumblr which now has his version of I Believe....definitely a very different Elder Price to the norm. I quite like the power in those lower notes.

There's also his version of "You and Me (But Mostly Me)": http://eponine119.tu...k-evans-book-of
I didn't care for him as Fiyero and really didn't like his portrayal of Sam as I saw it at West End Live, but I have to say this doesn't sound bad at all.

He sings it like he's in Les Mis or something.., not keen.
He's clearly going to replace Gavin Creel over here...

Is Mark not very popular on here? I personally think he sounds great. I won't be able to see it before he takes over anyway.

Personally I'm not a big fan of his voice. It didn't help that he was weaker than both his recent predecessors (Oli Tompsett in Wicked and Richard Fleeshman in Ghost).

Fair enough. I like his voice my only complaint would be that he uses a little too much vibrato on these BoM songs.
I liked him in Wicked though I have to say I (this is unpopular!) prefered Matt Willis.
Anyway, I'm very much looking forward to seeing this show hopefully this summer.

Can you name something else that will get nominated over it for new musical? Cos I can't think of one. There just haven't been many new musicals this year. Which was my point. Not that Viva Forever was going to win anything...

Ha, I'm glad I wasn't the only one. I also preferred Matt Willis as 'Fiyero'. Mark's probably my least favourite Fiyero, or one of my least favourites. Having said that, I thought he was pretty good in 'Ghost'. Still, by no means as good as Richard Fleeshman or even his understudy, Samuel Edwards - but I actually managed to enjoy his performance.
I like Mark's voice, I just don't like his acting.
