Suprised they haven't managed to cast a Price. Cunningham, not so much.

It's promising that they're being so careful with the casting though. Just booked tickets, and very excited for it. It's been marketed very well so far, and seems to be selling very well too!

Why would they do that? The tour cast are still touring the US come rehersals for the London show next year. There's no reason they'd bring over anyone from the tour.

I wonder if it's really a case of struggling to find actors for the roles (as great a set of roles they are, they're not that revolutionary) or if it's perhaps Trey and Matts inexperience with the theatre holding them back from making a decision after the success of Rannells and Gad. I mean, I'm sure they'll make the right casting decision. They have so far. But I wonder if the casting time is due to their inexperience mixed with the fact that Trey and Matt are generally cautious with their projects.

No i wouldnt be surprised, mormon is a very exact look and the closest i can think of in the uk is mark evans, but he isnt a great actor so finding the look, voice, comedian, actor etc all in one package is going to be difficult

Aye, I know they want a typical young mormon look not just for Price, but for all the mormon boys; but a part of me thinks that that look is very hard to find simply due to the fact we're british. A part of me thinks they may have to sacrifice the 'look' for the talent, and a part of me is ok with that...I mean it's not like the British public has had a lot of experience with Mormon missionaries as a whole. There's only 250,000 of them here!
