Adam Garcia has been cast as the lead with all manner of actresses being considered from both sides of the Atlantic to be his leading lady

Please tell me he's been cast as Bill Calhoun and not Fred Graham!

Fred according to reports. Other than his height being a bit of an issue I can see him acting it well enough. I suspect they are going for names with a transfer in mind. As actresses on both sides of the atlantic are being considered, and its Trevor Nunn directing, I wonder if Catherine Zeta Jones would consider doing it? She would be a name for the West End run and pretty good casting. I wonder if the budget for this is higher and thats why its just one musical this year

Given Sir Trev's propensity for casting his lovers in shows, I wonder if we can expect Nancy Dell'Olio as Lilli Vanessi...?

Adam Garcia as Fred??? Is this a joke? He's way too young, he can't sing and he has zero charisma. I'm writing this one off early.

I've heard Hannah Waddingham's name thrown around quite a bit for this.

That appeared as a rumour on (at least) 26/1/12 on the Dress Circle forums - however seems to have been rebutted in the same Daily Mail article which the first post in this thread is from.
Ive not heard her name from any credible source other than her fans
