Don't get too excited about the prospect of this tv coverage. The BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards are currently being broadcast live on Radio 2. There's supposed to be live tv coverage on the red button and on the Radio 2 website, but it's not available on either platform.

Not showing it at all would probably be better than last year's awful coverage! Let's hope they at least show all the awards this time and don't cut to interviews with Gok Wan while the 'Best Leading Actress' is about to make her speech!

I don't get why it isn't shown on BBC Two or BBC Four. Produced well, I think it will pull in decent ratings.

Because he was being asked his opinion on the Best Set Design award, a topic he is apparently most knowledgable about. And furthermore, he is a great admirer and follower of Bunny Christie's work. As if.

It was horrible to watch. I remember sending some really horrible tweets to the oliviers feed that night!
