[Gentleman Caller]

The director is Joe Hill-Gibbins (of The Beauty Queen of Leenane and The Glass Menagerie) and it starts from the 26th of January.
I have faith in Hill-Gibbins directing the Young Vic productions; hope this goes well too. Anyone seeing it soon? If so, please report back.

Seeing it on 15th Feb. Can't wait to see Jessica Raine on stage again, and Joe H-G is a very good director in my books: Glass Menagerie and Beauty Queen both brilliant productions.

I was too slow booking this and now it's sold out. Does anyone know how the day seats / returns policy works?

Don't think they'll do dayseats for this (esp since it's in the Maria), but the YV tend to tweet whenever they get returned tickets.

Why don't you just let it be a surprise? Unless you've got haemorrhoids or some other potential problem, in which case it would be sensible to let them know in advance.

It’s theatre in the round with the audience on two levels.

Joe Hill-Gibbons has scored another triumph. Great production, everything is thrown at it including trifle, chocolate sauce and jelly! The music is superb but I don’t think I’ll be able to hear the wedding march in its usual way again    Surreal, eclectic, well acted a great if not scary piece of theatre

Sounds great! Do you think it makes much difference where you sit? Wondering if it's worty queuing since its unallocated

We were front row of the circle and the view was good it reminded me of sitting up-top at the Donmar – with the circle seats starting at the same point of the stalls seats. We were on top of the action. If I were to see it again I’d plump for the stalls but i always favour the stalls ...
