It was a little cringe. She also seemed to be expecting a yes. Vocally she was good but not amazing. Also was the audience pre selected with Ellis and wicked fans, odd to get such a cheer

Kerry was good, but why? Why go through that? As been said before, shes already top of the musical profession. I cant see how was going to help her

As Kerry said - she wants to be known as Kerry Ellis and not one of the characters she has played on stage. Which to be fair to her is a reasonable career progression idea. Musicals are very difficult to build a career out, who has broken out of Musical Theatre in the past 10 years to become a mainstream star?
A good idea to try this and its not like its killed her career as all those ruddy radio adverts for the War of the Worlds tour show - starring Kerry ellis from Wicked

My take on it- not the right song to showcase her, understand why she did it, found it pretty cringy when she was asking why they didn't turn around, after all the hype has died down on twitter tonight it will be forgotten so it's not done her any long term damage! Hats off to her for having a go!

I do feel the judges were also questioning why she was there as they said at the end
