Mark Gatiss has crazy female fans? There's optimism ...

Ahaha! I'm sure they know he's gay and married, they're not that kind of crazy. But I know there's a sizable group of online Sherlock/Doctor Who fans that adore him and rather stalk his Twitter, so probably these girls were part of that. They seemed nice enough, just enthusiastic. :)

Some tickets have just been released for the rest of the run (ends 14 April).Gatiss fans may want to book A40 and/or A41, if he keeps the same staging as earlier in the run.

Cheers for this - just secured tickets for a friend who was very sad at having missed out

Enjoyed this. Fun.  For me not as much fun as She Stoops to Conquer but still well worth seeing.  The cast seem to have a whale of a time. For me Mark Gatiss not quite as funny as the audience seemed to think he was.....

I went to the final performance of this yesterday and I enjoyed it. Lots of fun and the cast were clearly going for the added laughs for the last show. Some great performances and I loved the staging. The atmosphere of the Donmar is always lovely.

I confess that I went to the last show as well, despite having already been, and yes, they were going for extra laughs (or at least Gatiss was). The throw of the hat into the Circle! But my favourite part was the uncontrollable audience laughter at the accent part, with both Burns and Gatiss eventually corpsing because the latter couldn't get more than one or two words out before the audience would be off again.

Quite a bit of emotion too at the end, which was perhaps to be expected.

That production was such fun. I'm looking forward to the next one already.
