I saw the Derby Playhouse production of this at the Donmar in 1995 and thought it one of the funniest plays I'd ever seen. Its version of a famous scene in The Deerhunter is priceless. Jonathan Lewis doesn't seem to have written anything since. A shame. It's a gamble to put on a play like this in the West End - have they got a couple of biggish names in the cast, I wonder?

I was in an amateur production of this 10+ years ago. Be great to finally see a professional production. I thought it was a great play.

Can't the cast not do the play and just tell the audience stories about crazy fans they have known

Initially this one passed me by. But as a fan of some of the leads, I will definitely be giving it a go! I haven't been to the Duchess in a while either, so that will be nice.
