Finally do the theatre sell Rain Poncho's? as the lady next to me asked and i said i didn't think so but then a member of staff brought out  four for the people in front.

Yes, they do! :) I also prefer this overall to Sweeney Todd, it's just got the whole package for me

I love the Broadway Ballet especially when *SPOILER* the whole theatre just lights up in the last part.

This may have already been answered earlier in this thread, but unfortunately at this present moment I don't have time to go back to read - so, my question is about Day Seating - anyone done it on a Saturday?  Any help regarding time to get there would be greatly appreciated :)

I got a day seat for the Saturday evening show a couple of weeks ago. I didn't get there until nearly half past ten, as the train was held up, and had no problems getting one. I got a seat on the end of row F and thought the view was fine. I was offered row A but for the first time ever I turned down a front row seat and went for one further back, for the sake of staying dry!

Thank you, I have only ever day seated for Wicked or Sweeney Todd and had to get there 6am or earlier - so at least it looks like I will get a lay in.

I did see SITR the night of Wicked's cast change so it could have been that all the dedicated day seaters were camped outside the Apollo Vic that day!

Day seated for SITR on Saturday, got there at 7.00am and was alone(well I had a friend with me)  till about 9.15.  The day seats are £25 and actually are awful seats - my seat had a pillar infront, never mentioned when I purchased the ticket.  Even through they are 'cheap' seats, the view is very very disappointing and I wouldn't recomment them at all.  Luckly I have seen the show a number of times before so  seeing from behind a pillar was diappointing but hey, that's a dayseat for you, however, for first timers (my friend was one), she actually had to leave at the interval because she was so disappointed with only seeing half the show.  I did complain but it was a sold out show and we couldn't be moved.

I do have a bugbear, why why why pay £60+ to sit in the front row (before you purchase your ticket you are warned that you are in the wet zone) and then you put up an umbrella - grrrrrrr - not the first time I have been in the audience and that happens.

Our tiCkets said that we not see the screen in full, my friend couldn't see the screen at all (hence only seeing half the show ie: half the stage was blocked) I wasn't told about the pillar, we were offered seats a bit further back but really wanted to be in the wet Zone, as it was the pillar got a good wash, I didn't.  Anyway, I will be going back again (have a small crush on Adam Cooper) but will definately be buying full price, ideally in row A ;)
