I notice that Collaborators will be featured on NT:Live. I'll probably catch it then as I'm not desperate to make the trip to London to see it. Looking forward to the reports when it starts though!

Does this flurry of booking when the website says it's sold out mean that tickets are held back for entry pass members?

Yes. From the NT website "Entry Pass" webpage:-

Get into the National Theatre with Entry Pass
Entry Pass is a free membership scheme for anyone aged 16 – 25.

Yes. It's normally about 6-8 tickets per performance in the soon to be renamed Cottesloe (Level 2 seats, in rows T and V), 10-12 in the Lyttleton (rows B-D in the stalls) and about 20-odd in the Oliver (dotted around, a couple of row B centre stalls, a few in the circle (mainly the back row) and more during Travelex productions.

Generally it's around 6 in the Lyttelton, though they've upped it a bit for this season. For Animals and Children, it was only 2 per performance. I'd say 10 in the Oliver, and 8 for Travelex, but it really depends. More are added if the show is selling badly, sometimes some are taken away if it's selling v well.
