The mod system is working. The issue is not whether spam gets posted but how long it takes to get it removed. Even digital spy takes time to respond to alerts. If the material's gone within a couple of hours of reporting (which is now happening) then that's pretty good going. A forum with only 400 registered members shouldn't need an army of mods.
