[quote name='QuincyMD' timestamp='1332838894' post='215081']<br />Just to add - for the first night in Glasgow there were 18 of us in the 360 seater Balcony and three of them left at the interval./quote]
That's a bit sad. Obviously a big theatre but I saw an offer for the Milton Keynes run as well. There was barely a seat to be had in Richmond for the whole run.
Personally I thought Suchet was great and as someone else said, Act IV, (the first half of the second half) WOW. I can't imagine seeing a better scene for the rest of this year. Those 2 guys had the whole audience in the palm of their hand. You could have heard a pin-drop.

If, for some strange reason you care what I've seen, it's all here:

I got into the back stalls for Press night - amusing to see all our broadsheet critics being plied with booze to keep them merry, while on stage we're seeing a family tearing strips off each other under the influence.
Having been hooked by Anna Christie last year, it was great to get another fix of O'Neill. Lacerating script, brilliantly performed - Laurie Metcalf probably takes top honours, but they are all superb. Really heartening to see such high quality theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue.

Not booked yet, but I will be going to see The Hairy Ape by O'Neill at the Southwark Playhouse.

Any news on day seats for this? The Apollo normally do £10 for front row or boxes but this doesn't seem to be the case for this one.

I think it depends on the production, rather than it just being a flat-rule for the Apollo. The Madness of King George didn't have day seats initially but they appeared later. No idea if that will happen for this though (sort of hoping it does!)

Cracked and booked for the matinee 6th June. Expensive seat(not premium obviously!!!)but talked myself into it by telling myself that husband would not enjoy this one so I had saved by not buying him a ticket....I have a good line in persuading arguments when it comes to theatre treats for me!

Near miss this time Latecomer! Was booked for 6th June, and then they changed Wednesday evenings to matinees, so exchanged to July 4th instead.
