Could you imagine how different the show could have been if the results were based purely on public votes.  We know ALW doesn't go along with the public when he saves the person with the least votes (e.g. saving Sam instead of Rachel but then Rachel would've been out before the semi-final if down to the public).

Obviously Jodie and Jessie would still be in the final as they were never in the bottom two but who could the third finalist have been if purely determined by the public?  Would the public have voted differently if the least popular went each week?
