It's not a bloody Broadway musical, however many times you say it

Sorry, I could not delete the double posts. I was hoping the Mod could do it.

Latest buzz is that the movie may be all of three hours long!

Having read the screenplay, this sounds quite credible.

Yes, I'd agree with that. I'm glad they're not going to cut it down either.

A Universal publicist tweeted this:

Time for a little clarity. End credits aren't on yet but the running time of LES MISÉRABLES without them is 2:32.

There's also apparently a new trailer in front of "Skyfall" in some cinemas in the UK - if anyone sees it please report back.

I saw Skyfall earlier (it's brilliant!) and I also saw the new Les Mis trailer. It's quite a lot longer than the previous one, and we see Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen. One Day More, On My Own and Do You Hear The People Sing? are all heard in the trailer, One Day More for the longest as it is played over the top, as well as I Dreamed a Dream. It really does look great!

I so hope that the corporate people (I guess that's who are in charge of trailers) decide to release the trailer! I want to hear One Day More, On My Own and Do You Hear The People Sing? so badly!!!!

It's looks epic, could be an award contender if they play their cards right but it depends on the competition. I hope Cameron can do Miss Saigon next as a film as it has oodles of potential in the right hands, it is cinematic as a stage show. I believe he also had My Fair Lady in development as well.
