Absolutely! Happy to post my own review. A lot of bases have been covered already in the previous review on here, but as I'm off down to Plymouth again Wed, I'll hold off til then to see if anything has changed in previews since last Tues. Hopefully the chandelier is up and running now.

It's ages until I go, so I'm just happy to read anything and everything! Anyone else booked for Plymouth?

Any details about the chandelier would be great! The Albert Hall chandelier's lack of crashing was expected but I do really hope the chandelier is a prominent feature in this version.

At the moment the chandelier dosnt do a lot. It has lights shone on it, drops a bit and fizzes some fireworks!!
Not a great deal different from the RAHall.
But may change - who knows?

It won't change as it has not been rigged like the london show, with this tour its all about time and money saving.
If it was going to rise and fall you would be able to see lots of cables attached to the roof and stage ie (cats cradle) like it is in london.

Such a shame there has been so many cut backs with this new new tour.
The last time the full stage and all effects were taken on the road and what a show it was.
2012 we see a new show done on the cheap with most of the iconic pieces from the show removed or vastly cut back.
If they could do it then why not now !
Ok some may say this is a new version but you would think you would like to make the new show even more outstanding than the old one.
Whilst a number of reviews praise the cast the new sets seem to be coming in for a lot of criticism. Noise when they are being moved around to NO WOW FACTOR !
What with the press night coming up it will be interesting to see how critical they will be with the scaling down budget cutting of this show but still charging the full price.
The chandelier not rising or dropping in the new show is a slaughter of the show itself.
Dissapointing very dissapointing !!!

Really? You think the success of the entire tour rests on this? How sad that this is what British theatre has become...Give the audience any old bollocks but as long as the fake chandelier moves up and down we all leave the theatre happy...

The chandelier has become one of the iconic pieces of set within the original production though (if not "the" iconic piece), so I can understand criticism if it is now not doing what the original one did.
