There was certainly no acting required from Mark, Siobhan or Sharon in the final farewell scene at both performances, real emotion and real tears.
I'd agree with all of that. Being sat front row for both shows because the Piccadilly front row is SO close to the front of the stage you really felt the intensity of it all and you could see the expression clearly on all the cast's faces. The evening was buoyed by the brilliant crowd and it was only really when it got to that final scene that the realisation dawned on me that the end was nigh. Like you say- Mark, Siobhan and Sharon broke my heart in that final scene because you could tell it wasn't acting at all.
It was a great way to send the show off and I thought Matthew Warchus' speech at the end was very fitting. It was a pleasure and a privilege to be there to witness it all.
