Let me guess...

Rob will be with Jodie
Lewis with Jessie
Keith with Niamh

Holding out for a Hero appears in the stage version of Footloose - which is probably why they feel justified in including it

If Jodie is given it, it is a clear signal that they want her out

fingers crossed!! unsure.gif

I would never have paired Jodie with Lewis

This has the potential to be the most embarrasing night so far.....

Lewis is a good singer but CANNOT act for the life of him, in fact neither can Ben Ellis (shockingly bad in Hairspray)!!!!

Why is this programme becoming so awful????

Thank you guest for your insightful post.

I disagree strongly.  IMHO  Lewis was the star of the Dream on concert and friends who are Lee fans have seen him in Joseph.  He is no Lee Mead but they said he did a good job.  I have also seen Ben in hairspray and to me he is the perfect Link.  Of course friends of the understudy disagree with me and they are entitled to their opinion just as i am.

I've seen Lewis play Joseph and i can tell you he was dreadful. He can sing, yes sure he can but he can't act through song or act for that matter. And as for Ben in Hairspray.....well i have seen the show both here and in New York and lets just say that Ben looks like an amateur compared to the actor in New York!!!

This competition is becoming one big farce and the public is falling into the manipulation trap!! Thank God i didn't pre-order tickets!!!

The only saving grace of this competition is Rachael. If she doesn't win then it will be ONE BIG JOKE!!!

Well we obviously have different taste as Rachel to me is the one I don't want to win.  I feel she overacts (to be fair is probably better on the stage than through the tv) I also find her cold but again I maybe unfair as I am only judging through the programme and VT

Ok, Ben in hairspray is actually great in my opinion. I really loved his potrayal of Link and didn;t see the problem with him. He sings, dances and acts really well. I wasn't sure whether he'd be any good when I went to see hairspray and I am by now means a 'Ben Fan' but he was genuinely good. No more Ben bashing please.

But I totally agree with the Rachel comment. i've been rooting for her for weeks. She is the only one with the maturity of voice and acting that will be able to pull of the show 8 times a week. She, and Jodie, would be the only two Nancys that i would go and see. So come on Rachel!
