You can't just ignore the guest*guest postings - it disturbs the flow of conversation and is actually hideous for any new members who may want to participate and join in. I have and always will be against guest posting - but I have let me thoughts be known on this from the start

Same old, same old. Usual couple of people whinging about guests. Who cares? We should ignore them or hope they go elsewhere.

I haven't noticed any recent spam, even with guest posting allowed. Does this mean the Acme Anti-Spam Device is an operational success? If so, I applaud this achievement as a major improvement to the discussion board.

I like the fact that no-one has ever answered the question of "what is wrong with signing up and using the same username?". It is not possible to ignore guest posting, at the end of the day

Like Laughingmonsta, my position on the case is perfectly clear.

Readers of this thread should be aware that the "guest" postings on this page are from no more than two people, one of whom is quite a prolific poster under his/her registered name.
