And that was a Saturday? Maybe I won't bother going in super-early on Wednesday then! Thanks. :)

I saw the matinee on Wednesday 25 and really enjoyed it. As others have said, the set is amazing and very clever. The cast are first class with great comic timing. I felt it started becoming a little forced near the end of the second act, but would happily see it again. The bloke siting next to me clearly didn't agree as he upped and left before the end of the first act. The place was packed aswell.

The Gielgud is a beautiful theatre too.

For anyone who enjoyed my 60 second version of The Ladykillers, I'm delighted to say we've now been nominated in the top 20!  Please vote for us here!  http://www.empireonline.com/awards2012/diss/
I wouldn't say a word that could be reckoned as injurious,
But to find a mother younger than her son is very curious,
And that's the kind of mother that is usually spurious.

I saw it a whole ago. The set was very clever. I liked it enough, but somehow didn't enjoy it as much as I was expecting to after reading several blooming reviews.  But as I said, I liked it.

That day I tried to buy a dayseat.   But clearly, going in the late afternoon wasn't early enough, so just bought an ordinary ticket.

Saw it again yesterday. Got there at 9:45, and was the tenth person in the queue. They had a very limited selection of seats left, and I think the first people in the queue got boxes. I got a dress circle slip seat, which was very restricted, glad I only paid a tenner.

The show was great, I really love this play! However, both Stephen Wright and Clive Rowe were off, so we had 2 understudies which was disappointing. William Troughton was very good as Harry though. I took a while to warm to Lace's One Round, but actually found him quite funny.

Sensational performances from Capaldi, Fleet and Miller who more than made up for the absence of their fellow cast.

Great play. Not for everyone, but see it if you can!

I dayseating this morning- got there early (7:45) thinking it would be busy, but no one else to be seen until after 9. At 10, there were around 8 people in the queue. Got front row- there wasn't much choice dayseat wise. Either that or upper circle. Looking forward to seeing it in just under an hour's time.
