really simply.

The interpretation of having Judy as being a bit stupid, weak and even geeky, however "grows up" and starts to get a little clever and understand things. It fitted with the plot and Natalie made it work, maybe get out and stay out needs some work and less crying but over all it "worked" in a sense of plot and display..
However I didn't like her interpretation, I'm used to Stephs and feel Judy is better being niave and slowly growing in confidence.

The same how you may say I dislike XYZ but not denying the fact their talented.

I'm sorry but making her sound slow is not enjoyable at all surely, it's a bad decision and a bad performance of someone who is a bit slow. It knocks all the end part of her story completely off. I sound like can't stand her when in fact I LOVE her on TV and enjoyed her in Abigails Party, but I refuse to even try and defend this performance, no matter how much I like her
