Dolly Parton seems to have confirmed that '9 to 5: The Musical' is coming to the UK:
I saw it in NY several times and loved it, but you can't trust my opinion because I'm a big Dolly fan! I think it will be interesting to see if it does better here than it did on Broadway...

I wonder if they'll use the original Broadway set (which I believe was downsized only so it could tour). I'd like to see Miriam Margolyes play Roz!

From looking at the clip i think it may just be a national tour unfortunately as she said it would be going onto "possibly Japan or Australia" see around the 40 second mark on the clip. that is just what i personally think.

Bad idea in my opinion - Miriam could pull off the comedy brilliantly, I don't doubt it, but Ros has a very demanding number to sing, and the problem is that Miriam Margoyles cannot sing at all.
