The whistle sucks in this production. So does the organ. And the misguided use of the "radio". And, yes, the end of Act I too.

THinking of heading along to TKTS booth tonight.  I shall look out for brochures for the two of you.
I wouldn't say a word that could be reckoned as injurious,
But to find a mother younger than her son is very curious,
And that's the kind of mother that is usually spurious.

I was also quite relieved. It is also why I avoid listening to the OBC of Sweeney Todd on my iPod whilst in public (on the bus, tube etc) as the whistle is so ear-piercingly loud and I forget where it comes every time and I jump right out of my seat!

LOL. i've had that a few times ... i feel sorry for the people who stand next to me every morning on the northern line <_<

Broadway has been very good to me. But then, I've been very good to broadway.

Sorry, there were no brochures.  I did ask.

I really loved the production, especially Staunton, Toby and the ensemble.

Nice to see someone else who loved Toby in this production!
After reading some less favourable remarks about him I wasn't expecting much, but after seeing it I was really impressed with James McConville's performance!
I enjoyed all the other performances too of course, especially Ball and Staunton! :)

I have one that I'd be happy to sell to you...I went to Chichester where they didn't have brochures so I ordered one from London months ago. I'll look up what I paid and let you know???
