I don't go all out for reality tv often but I think francesca jackson is brilliant. I love musical theatre. i think its horrible that her chances have been wrecked by the press but I love musical theatre, am taking my mum to see billy elliot for her 65th

Its a difficult one with this girl as so far there has been alot of attention drawn to her experience etc but in the build up to the live shows it showed very little of her performing.
She no doubt has talent, as both her performances have shown, but i feel like she hasnt had chance to grow yet. The first performance wasnt the strongest or the weakest on the night - but the sing off was outstanding and very classy.
i just wish these shows were done with more musical theatre numbers because i really think that would give a clearer indication of the REAL acting talent - something i think alot of these girls lack. And i noticed (in my opinion) that despite the dodgy sharp note in saturdays song - Francesca can most definitely act well.
To be honest that is all i am concerned with. the acting. nobody wants to work with a great singer who is dead behind the eyes and cant face the right way. no matter how nice their voice is.
anyway - enough rambling - i would like to see more of her because i think she COULD be brilliant.

Yes, I did see her in the sing off, hence why I stated I can see she is a good performer. The only reason I posted is because I was getting a bit bored of hearing that the only reason the people who don't support Francesca, don't support her, is because of bad press. Some of us aren't that shallow.
The more you push something at people the more annoyed they will become and the more likely they are to ignore your views, regardless of how valid they are.
I, like the majority of the viewers of the show, will never have seen any of the girls in anything before and so they can only judge them by what they are shown on TV and based on what we'd seen of Francesca she wasn't able to cope with the stress or pressure the show was putting her under. Her performance on saturday was quite poor and thats why she was in the sing off, no other reason.

She gave a better performance last night but there are better performers on the show.

Having watched her performance for a 2nd time, the pitch problems haven't been solved
I guess she is trying as hard as she can - maybe too hard. Next week she needs to do something a lot simpler and truer. Grit can sometimes turn rough

I'm afraid she was poor again tonight, I quite like her, but she's not coming accross as consistently strong enough vocally.

Such bad pitch-I wouldnt be confident casting her as nancy-i would worry she would only "sometimes" hit the notes

Fran's pitch is pretty bad sometimes which i am suprised only ALW picked up on! I dont really have any problems with her working with DOV becaue sarah ahs worked with John, but i simply cant warm to her voice.
