There is always friends and family of the performers in the audience. There is one section generally reserved for them and if they don't fill it then the seats around them get filled with the next people in the queue.
You should be warned before you apply for tickets that having one doesn't guarantee you entry into the studio, you also aren't guaranteed to be sitting with the people you went with.

Warning to anyone who wants to attend - there is always a tedious amount of queuing and just generally hanging around for these recordings. Don't even think of going on your own unless you want to be bored stiff long before the show starts.

I'd say if you wanna go on your own then just go for it. Don't let the long wait put you off.
Also, application for tickets closed yesterday.
Good luck to those who applied and I hope those who are lucky enough to get tickets enjoy the show(s).

Would you Adam and Eve it RyKas was lucky and is going on Saturday to the recording of the show! I got an email on Tuesday saying my name "would be on the door" as it is too late to send tickets out. You can call the ticket helpline on 0870 901 1227.
