Anyone familiar with Almeida £8 restricted view seats??? Is it true you can't see anything? Any help much appreciated

I saw the Master Builder from the last seat in row L centre stalls, 22 I think. View from there absolutely fine, but one seat in would have had a pillar in the way.

I'm a fan of them. They proved a bit of a nuisance for the office scenes in House of Games, but you don't lose a huge amount of the stage and they're such a lovely price. The further forward you are, the fewer pillars there are, so go for row F whenever possible!
I don't think I've ever sat in a full view seat at the Almeida...

I sat in B2. It was brill. My friend had C1...it was a bit more "round the corner", not half as good. She completely missed seeing Ruth Wilson in the naked bit!!!!

Phew, glad for all the comments as we've booked £8 seats in row F for Becky Shaw this Friday. It does seem very cheap when people around you have paid £29.50 and I was a little worried to be honest.

Hate the fact that you can't leave single seats. Proving very annoying

The single seats thing is annoying. I always book the same seats in row H. I sat with my Dad in row F for Through A Glass Darkly and my seat was perfect really but he was stuck with the pillar. (Luck of the draw.)

Ah, didn't you miss Al Weaver's performance in its entirety because of that?

Depended on which way I leaned. But in my seat, there was NO WAY to see both Weaver and Carroll at the same time when they were upstairs like that, and I think we have a fairly good idea which way my bias lies.

We certainly do. You never stopped going on about her in After The Dance.
