I saw him two weeks ago. He played more of "no nonsense" Mr Wormwood, which was a nice change from Paul Kaye's comical version.
The doctor/escapologist understudy, Tommy Sherlock, did seem to struggle to hit the high notes though.

They've played about with the cover tracks in that case, first cover Mr Wormwood was Michael in the original cast (however the Doctor track was 2nd Trunchball cover).
