True - Warchus and co might as well make the most of their air miles. I'll keep an eye on the Broadway castings, see if we discover what roles are being auditioned for at the moment (might give us an inkling as to who's likely to transfer with the production).

Hi all - I've arranged a group trip to Matilda on Wednesday 21st March (7.30pm) and have 2 tickets left. They're top price Dress Circle tickets, normally £65, at the group rate of £45. If anyone wants them, drop me a message!

Saw Matilda for the first time last night and loved every minute of it. Funny, heart warming and just an absolute joy. Enjoyed the music and lyrics immensely. Loved Bertie Carvel and the little girl playing Matilda was just perfect. A wonderful night at the theatre.

Saw this last week - incredible!
I was sat in the Upper Circle but seats were still fine and saw nearly everything.
Set around the arch was amazing before show even started and then was incredible throughout.
Took 2 friends who had never been to see a show and they were blown away - especially by some of the effects (i.e cake and pigtails - dont want to say anymore and ruin it)

Cast all put in fantastic performances, Matilda and all the other kids were great, I'm not normally a big fan of kids singing but they really were faultless.Hoping to see it again but tickets just so expensive at the min might have to wait!
EDIT: Wish the programme was better, like a full glossy souvenir programme - Singin in Rain programme amazing and think Matilda would be great in same style

I know what you mean, though the Matilda programme is done in the RSC's "house style" so I expected nothing less. I think there would be a market in a full glossy souvenir programme stuff full of photos, but in a way I'm personally glad they don't as at least you get all-in-one.

Taking my parents to see this in a couple of weeks as I love it bt had a quick seating query. We have front row of the dress circle which are sold at top price but I've jst read on Theatremonkey that the rail restricts the view for Row A.Has anyone had seats at the front of the Dress Circle and if so how did you find the view? Thanks!

It's a low rail, I didn't think it was a problem at all. To be honest, front row dress has the big advantage of being able to admire the entire scope of the production without having heads in the way :-)
