Once again the Stag has produced a good piece of theater! My three friends and I were really impressed with this play. Although it is billed as a comedy I found it really quite moving as much as I did funny. The cast are good and well suited to their parts; each character is believable. The intimate space of the Above the Stag Theatre means you get a ‘close up’ performance which I really like. We found out afterwards that the actor playing the priest only had a few days to prepare and joined the cast late. At the start I found him hard to warm too; but by the end of the play I really enjoyed and admired his performance.
4 out of 5!

It is in London - behind the Victoria Palace Theatre
The engine roared, the motor hissed,
And who could see that the road would twist
And who could see that the road would twist
