I've just got rather excited by the news that the RSC are bringing a production within walking distance of my house.
Those who saw The Comedy Of Errors in 2005, what was it like?

It was fun. Jonathan Slinger was one of the Dromios.

I agree, the actors looked like they were having a lot of fun and it was very silly. I saw it in the London RSC Season last year, I think.
I'm not sure the tour will have the same actors, but it is a good production of The Comedy Of Errors.

Thanks for the replies- really looking forward to it now!
I don't think it can have the same cast, since Slinger (and probably others- I know there are a few from that seasons Midsummer Night's Dream involved) will still be tied up with the Histories.

Woah - that looks so much fun. I think that's one that needs to be done with a pinch of salt - the production i saw was (unbelieveably) playing it a bit straight...
Can't work out what the pic reminds me of? Alice in Wonderland?

It was a fun production, but the tour will have a different cast. It was one of the more visually memorable productions of recent years, and that presumably will be exactly the same. It's good fun and well worth a look. It's a daft old play of course, but as long as you enter into the spirit, it's a great laugh. I really enjoyed it and hope you do too!
