Hi everyone, went to see the show last night, had a couple of understudies on and just wanted to write to a couple of them and wondered if anyone knew the address for the stage door?
Any help would be appreciated!

I'm half-betting, half-hoping that Jonathan Williams as Valjean was one of them. Or Simon Shorten, respectively. They're brilliant (and have been covering a LOT since March this year). Am interested, too, though.

Yep Jonathan Williams was on as Valjean, just out of interest how often does he go on (?) really want to see him again. Also Spike Grimsey was on as Thenardier, a couple of other swings were on (cant remember who, sorry) but I do know that Matthew Seadon Young was away. Excellent performance though!

Jonathan has gone a lot recently (including an almost eight week run in spring this year) and is covering for the third year now. Amazing Valjean, I agree.
Simon Bowman is, according to his website, not performing "every other Monday", which is not a very precise information. Jonathan will probably/hopefully get some dates sooner or later, until then it's just mainly "hit or miss", I guess.

Bit difficult to work out which Monday's the understudy is on. Simon Shorten usually Tweets if he is on but don't know about Jonathan.

I'm seeing the show on Monday! Will Simon Bowman be performing??
I've never seen the show, but love the music.
I was wondering whether or not the current cast are good??

The current cast has its highs and lows. My favourite cast still is the one from 08/09, or at least until October 2009, before Hans Peter Janssens and Simon Bowman became the leads, afterwards, it was mainly the very strong ensemble and the three amazing principals that have left now that really stood out.
I'll just write what I've heard from others, mixed with my own experience - you've got vocally very strong performers in Norm Lewis as Javert and Killian Donnelly as Enjolras. I'm not too sure about Samantha Barks's acting, but she's been getting good reviews and has a good voice. Rebecca Seale usually makes a good Fantine, but as for... Lucie Jones as Cosette, she's very "pop" sounding, maybe not up to the standard of previous Cosettes. Martin Ball and Lorraine Bruce are working very well as the Thenardiers, so that should be fine, they have had a year of experience together now. Alistair Brammer is a Marius that many find a bit difficult to like because his voice is a bit on the "shakey" side, but I find that most are quite convinced by his "Empty Chairs", and he definitely knows how to act the part.
Simon Bowman as Valjean had been getting a lot of bad reviews over the past year, mostly due to his poor breathing control, pitchiness, over-acting and strange character interpretation. Personally, I'd hope for Jonathan Williams or Simon Shorten, who are both marvellous.
All in all, it's up to your own enjoyment if you think it's a good cast. I'd probably say it is. Some of them are GREAT, others are decent, some really depend on what you want to see and hear.
