There are some huge names confirmed (but as yet unannounced) for this. Proper west end/broadway/movie names.
I hate this sort of coyness with information. Is the possibility of being deeply unimpressed and disappointed supposed to make the event more attractive to potential customers?

Book now people, or you'll regret it!
The chances of people regretting it would be greatly reduced if they knew what they were getting.

I booked before I knew any of the line-up. I was aware of Broadway Bares and always wanted London to do its own version so now that it is I booked my tickets (although I knew John Barrowman was hosting when I booked).

Well of course many people will book just because it's a good cause and sounds like fun. But Matthew Winn is right that trying to drum up sales by hinting at big stars means some people are bound to be underwhelmed by any cast announced. And really, it's not necessary - there's standing room only left for both shows.

Oh well, sorry to have annoyed you all so.
Was just trying to add some interest to a great cause, without mentioning names which at the moment the organisers don't want revealed.
Anyway. Sure you'll all enjoy!
As for underwhelmed the last name I heard is a Drama Desk nominee and WOS winner and has starred in 8 or 9 films What more do people want? Apart from Biggins?

What I want is names. It's kind of insulting of the organisers to suggest that the public shouldn't care who's involved so long as it's someone famous.

Just because someone is a huge name or a star doesn't mean that people like them, though. Just look at Tom Cruise or Mel Gibson.
Biggins would be excellent, mind!

Well I hate to sound shallow but I wouldn't really want to see Biggins naked.

I've never been to Cafe de Paris before. Is there any kind of dress code for the public (obviously less is more for the performers except maybe John Barrowman)? I tend to usually just wear t-shirt, jeans and trainers but I might be able to change before the show.
Hi I'm new to this forum, but would like to say I am going to the midnight show of West End Bares. Looking through google it looks like the dress code is smart, no ripped jeans t-shirts or trainers. Which show are you going to see?

I'm pretty sure it's no jeans/no trainers sort of set-up. Shirts for the guys, skirts/dresses and heels for the ladies
