I was disappointed with the show at the Landor so I won't be wasting time and money trekking to Chiswick...
On the other hand, Smokey Joe's Cafe at The Landor is terrific. A wonderful revue show with some wonderful performances.

Just the other day, I paid my first-ever visit to the long-established Tabard Theatre on Turnham Green. No relation to the columnist of the same name that appears in the pages of The Stage with snippets of theatrical gossip and speculation, I found a rare thing here: a fringe theatre that is not only comfortably equipped with real theatre seating, but also a fully raked auditorium that puts many West End sightlines to shame. And best of all, in Andrew Keates’s terrific staging of Martin Sherman’s Bent, first seen at the Landor earlier this year, here’s a production of commitment and real talent, too, that also repaid my return visit to it.

There are also some awards coming up at the London Fringe Festival, and the Bent cast have been nominated for quite a few, good luck to all of them, they are fantastic

Can we keep personal digs off the public board please... 'Mr A K' also happens to be the name of the director... and quite obvious you are having a personal dig. For what reason, I don't care, and all opinions welcome of course but please don't tarnish what was an outstanding production with 7 Off West End nominations with a personal attack.

Made my first trip out to Turnham Green for this and really glad I did. Really enjoyed it. But crickey, it was hot in there, it wasn't even that warm an evening really. It would have to be something pretty good to get me back there in the summertime again.
