Doesn't surprise me - what with Flashdance making headway into the West End, a revival of this era's film shows on stage seems to be in order. My local theatre is doing Fame this summer too (a youth inhouse project), so that's all three of this trio!
Will have to see if it comes to Oxford/Birmingham (or nearby).

How I would love for Derek Hough to return to the role, especially now he's got the Cheryl Cole publicity behind him. Only found out recently that he was in this production a couple of years ago in the UK. After seeing him on Dancing With The Stars, I'm definitely a fan. Come on Derek, you know you want to do it!

I saw Derek Hough twice. He was great. It also doesn't surprise me that it'll tour again what with Flashdance coming up soon.

I saw Derek loads as Ren. He was a great Ren, although out of the 7 different Rens I have seen he wasn't my favourite.

Derek Hough was an awesome Ren and I would definitely go see it again if he was in it.
