Saw this play last week. It's phenomenal. Not usually a fan of Tennessee Williams but loved this version including the cast and the great set. Go see if you get chance.

It is fantastic - the production and performances are really attuned to Williams' style. A slow start but I was hooked and convinced and moved by the end. Beautiful design too. Someone elsewhere on the site mentioned the nearly-£50 top price and, yes, it baffles me. Are there really enough people around who pay that for four actors on a stage? But there are offers around. Take advantage of them.

Would anyone be able to tell me if the Apollo does day/student tickets for this play?
Thanks in advance.

Not as far as I know (you mean like how they've done front row for under 25s before?). BUT there is a WOS offer here on the site and also I noticed that people next to me had half-price tickets from the half-price ticket booth if you can try on the day.

I saw this production on Wednesday and I loved it. It is so beautiful and delicate and moving, I cried quite intensely about three times. I thought Amanda Hale's performance was unbearably poignant and the whole thing just blew me away aaaaah. I loved the set, the gorgeous lighting, and the play itself is magnificent. I urge people to go and see it because the theatre wasn't too full and it depresses me that something magical and heartfelt like this can't do well when a cash-cow (cash-horse?) like Equus next door just sells and sell$$$.
He used to call me — Blue Roses.

There's no justice in the West End, is there? The Glass Menagerie ought to be the hottest ticket in town.
Oh well, as someone once said, "No-one ever said life was fair, Tina"

Saw this last week and agree with all the comments above. Hope word of mouth counts for something, because you could feel the whole audience being gripped by it throughout.
A word about the theatre too. Gorgeous auditorium, comfortable seating (in the stalls, at least), friendly, welcoming staff and the whole place so beautifully maintained that I had to compliment the manager afterwards.
All in all, a great experience that will live in my mind.
