Job suffered so much at the hands of a jealous god. I often think of him when I'm sitting through a particularly grim piece of theatre (e.g. The Soldier's Fortune or The Unexpected Guest - both last week). But he was patient, like me. That's him over there (left) in a famous pen-and-ink by somebody unpronouncable. He looks better nude than I do, though.
There is another reason why I use name, but its significance is purely personal so I won't go into it here. Also it's only got three letters so I can type it quickly.
