Must be very difficult for Hannah swallowing those very sour grapes - sad as I would not ahve expected this outburst from her .

the whole thing smacks of sour grapes! it is at the end of the day down to the preference of the panel who were voting, and to be honest my opinion is that spamalot of a pile of utter tosh, and why should a show win best new musical, just because its leading lady is a stroppy cow with a big gob!
sunday was such a deserving winner in all its catergories! i hope that this means that both daniel and jenna will transfer with the show to studio 54

Ouch. Bit of bad publicity for the show. Shame, really, as it's a brilliant show - and the ticket sales must be proof enough of that.
It's nice to be better, but it's better to be nice...

well maybe spammy is greater then sum of all its parts. great that it got listed because it does ahve strenghts but doesn't make it the strongest show. a nomination does mean its going to win

I don't think she should be criticised, it's refreshing to hear someone speaking their mind, rather than everyone making bland comments. I've worked with Hannah before and she's someone who cares and is passionate about the shows she is in, I think she is just proud of what they have achieved with Spamalot. I'm not saying they deserved to win, I thought it was good but not really my thing. i just think it's good that she's prepared to be honest about how she feels. Critics can and we speak our minds, so why can't performers...
