If you like 'high' drama (it's a bit like The Woman In Black but not so spooky) I think you'll enjoy. I've booked already

Directed by Peter Gill isn't it ? How does he manage to get so much work ?
Had the misfortune to see this last week. Absolutely interminable. Whatever possessed them to revive this? Dated and tedious, this might just about be ok during the winter with a superb leading actress. Instead of which, we get an oppressively Victorian looking production led by a dreadfully wooden Rosamund Pike. Sad to say that after the triumphs of Moon and The Entertainer, it now looks like the Old Vic is reverting to the mediocrity that has characterised Kevin Spacey's tenure.

Went to see this Wednesday evening and thoroughly enjoyed it. I wouldn't compare it to the Woman in Black at all as that was my least favourite West End experience. I thought it was brilliantly acted and held my attention the whole time. The tickets are quite cheap at the moment so if you get the chance I would say give it a go. It was my first time at the Old Vic and it was so nice to be able to park practically outside!

I haven't seen Gaslight but friends say it's great fun and Ken Cranham is fabulous. But Orin, look at their season next year. It's really exciting - great kudos to Spacey for programming it.

I enjoyed Gaslight a lot more than Moon for the Misbegotten (not least because it finished well before closing time).

I'm not the only one. At least 50% of people who posted at the time thought that Moon was an overlong tedious bore!
