Not what I expected but still happy with the results! I just hope Avenue Q cud have gotten SOMETHING! And cannot CANNOT believe Cabaret got Best Choreography! I mean... when I saw it it was HORRIBLE! Anyway, ALOT of congradulations to Sunday... well deserved! And lol to Jenna for swearing onstage haha!

horrible? how so?
were you expecting jazz hands?
surely you mean innovatingly executed with every move and shape inspired and based in reality
devastatingly in-your-face beautiful IMHO

There was no choreography in Cabaret just a load of bumps and grinds, worthy of an old fashioned strip show, with no orginality. It was so obviously aimed to shock, but was just childish and dull. I'm astonished it won an award. However, the news about Sheila Hancock is great. She is an excellent performer and really deserved the award for giving such a moving performance, especially in such a dreary production.
SITPWG really did deserve so many awards. It proved that intelligence, imagination, stunning performances and a terrific score put it way ahead of all other musical productions. Still, with so much third rate dross in the West End, the competition wasn't exactly all that fierce.
