http://www.telegraph.co.uk/arts/main.jhtml....xml&page=2 the above article mentions Shakespeare's "dramas". I've never heard his plays divided up like that. Would 'dramas' be tragedies? histories? Am I just being stupid?

I think in the context of the article, he's not using dramas as a genre of Shakespeare's work. He's using it as a substitute for the word "plays". If I'm looking at the right sentence, he's talking about the fact that all 8 plays / dramas of the history cycle from Richard II through to Richard III will be played.
