She is brilliant in it - she shows up our own British actresses as being pretty naff. Amy Nutall is awful in it as is the lead guy who plays the love interest - didn't even bother to find out his name as he is soooo bad.This type of comedy calls for heightened acting but he is soooo over the top it's embarrassing. Elena is a true star and she sets the stage alight like she did in Evita. Good on her!

Yeah. That Elena Roger knocks spots off Imelda Staunton, Brenda Blethyn, Judi Dench, Jenna Russell, Sally Dexter, you name 'em.
But you have to admit, Maggie Smith is huuuge in Buenos Aires, so it's not all one-way traffic.

i loved her in B-B she was fantastic, but everyone else was good too. Such a good show.
