I feel like I'm talking to lunatics. I'm looking at my ticket bought at the box office a FEW WEEKS AGO and the seat is AA26 and the price is £38.75 + 75p restoration levy = £39.50. A few weeks ago AA went from 1 - 26. They subsequently added about 6 seats to AA and it's those seats you all may be deluding to. And on that line of lunacy I think it's dreadful that someone has taken a blurry pic of Daniel R naked and it's now splashed out in the News of the World.

I am very grateful to have had a heads-up that this was a first preview review - I don't keep checking back into threads I have read before and I CANNOT believe people object to someone starting a new thread to flag up a review of an eagerly-awaited show. What ARE your lives LIKE?

Thank you to those who reviewed the show for those of us who are interested.

What was the audience like? I only ask because of my fear and trepidation of over excited adolescents, or people from other lands who get fixated on people (I will NEVER get over the Americans at Wicked - it gave me a migraine) disrupting the show.

Someone asked why people would go to see this. Ha ha. Having a naked 17 year old boy on stage creates its own audience, right ? One only has to look at the squeals of delight posted on the old board here when the first photos of him appeared in the press. Camp or what, Skylight ?

I don't know about camp but I am puzzled by the exceptionally high number of views for this thread.

The first preview crowd were exceptionally well behaved (coughed a lot) but there was none of the squealing and yelling I expected.

I dont want anyone to have to give things away, but with the whol 'blinding horses' side of things, is it quite grusome in parts (not that thats quite the right word) or is it just implied?

Anyone queening about why this show is getting so much attention on this messageboard needs to get some perspective. It’s the stage debut of one of the most famous film personalities in the world. In fact it’s the first time the world’s seen him play anything but the role he’s famous for. You have the world media bearing down upon it, can you therefore blame everyday people being quite avid about it, as a result? Whether it ought to or not has no relevance, but the fact is that this show transcends any traditional show’s profile and you’re just gonna have to live with that. It won’t hurt you.
