Has anyone seen the above production yet? Is anyone planning on seeing it?

Previews of Part 1 at the Citizens, Glasgow last night/tonight but Part 2 previews aren't until next Friday/Saturday.
Giving it a miss myself but I'd imagine you'll have to wait until next Sunday before any worthwhile reviews appear (although there may well be a bit of feature articles this week coming)
Was at the Citz tonight seeing "Re:Union" in the studio theatre but we were out before Angels so afraid I can't even give any idea if there was a buzz or not when it finished.

I reallllyy want to see this but am a bit scared of the thought of 7 hours of theatre without really knowing if I'll like it! Especially if I'm taking a sceptical friend... I love love love Caroline or Change though...

How about booking for the first part Josh and then if you dont like that then you know not to go for the second part . Maybe try and get hold of the TV 2 part mini series with Meryl Streep and Al Pacino which in my opinion is fantastic .

I'm going to both in July - saw the NT production in 1993.
Why does the thought of 7 hours of potentially unenjoyable theatre bother you any more than the thought of 2 or 3 hours of it? It's a perennial risk, although I partly understand your misgivings - in this case, you'd have to be making a return trip to see the 2nd half of something you didn't enjoy the first half of. pork chop's idea might not work in that by the time you'd seen part 1 and maybe loved it, it might be too late to book for part 2. Does the Lyric accept returns?
