Pitmen Painters returns to the region
March 5, 2009
Direct from sell-out seasons at Live Theatre, Newcastle and London’s National Theatre, Lee Hall’s The Pitman Painters (29 Sep – 3 Oct) comes to the Theatre Royal.
Hall’s new play is a humorous, deeply moving and timely look at art, class and politics and we cannot recommend it highly enough having seen both seasons at The Live Theatre.
This play based on a true story is set in the North East and is must see production
