Dads Army keeps on marching?
May 4, 2008
Don’t Panic! A hilarious treat is in store for the whole family with the welcome return of one of the most popular and revered British comedies of all time, Dad’s Army.
This new production includes Leslie Grantham (Dirty Den, EastEnders) and promisies to continue to bring life to the misadventures of our Home Guard platoon in their fictional South Coast town of Walmington-on-Sea.
The original BBC TV series first screened in 1968 soon became a comedy classic, running for nearly ten years and is often repeated with its timeless humour.
This production offers a unique opportunity to see the lost episodes after the originals were erased by the BBC. So unless you saw them back in 1969 now’s your chance.
While this tour has been on the road for some time and stops off at the Theatre Royal between May 27th to 31st Grantham has confirmed there may be a further tour containing other episodes and he has already been asked to continue playing Private Walker.
